Description
Here Lord Vinayaka's brass figurine is nicely crafted. Lord Ganesha is known as Sri Siddhi Vinayak and is worshiped before beginning any rituals. Even before puja of any God Ganesha is worshipped as he is first among equals. It is believed that Ganesha can remove any obstacle and hardships from the life of the people who worship him and He is the Remover of Obstacles. The story of Lord Ganesha’s birth is very interesting. Lord Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati. Parvati was urged upon by the gods that her son was required for the benefit of the world. She one day was taking bath and suddenly she thought she should perhaps have a son so that he will always be with her. She used the turmeric paste from her body to make a sculpture of a small boy. She used her tantra powers and imparted life to the idol. This was how Ganesha was born and Parvati named him Vinayak. In this whole process Lord Shiva was engrossed in deep meditation and hence was in the dark about the birth of the new child. Lord Ganesha is known as Sri Siddhi Vinayak and is worshiped before beginning any new rituals. Even before puja of any god Ganesha is worshipped. It is believed that Ganesha can remove any obstacle and hardships from the life of the people who worship him and He is the Remover of Obstacles.

Description
The brass figure of Lord Vishnu sitting on Sheshnag is nicely carved out with a deep sense of finesse. One of the Trinity Gods in Hinduism, the other two being Lord Shiva and Brahma, Lord Vishnu is responsible for the preservation of the universe. He is normally depicted as resting in a reclining Sheshnag in the ocean. It is believed that Vishnu takes birth every time there is an impending catastrophe before the planet earth. In Hindu tradition, Shesha, also known as Sheshanaga or Adishesha is the king of all Nāgas, one of the primal beings of creation, and according to the Bhagavata Purana, an avatar of the Supreme God known as Narayana. In Puranas, Sheshanaga is said to hold all the planets of the Universe on his hoods and to constantly sing the glories of Vishnu from all his mouths. It is said when Adishesa uncoils, time moves forward and creation takes place. When he coils back, the universe ceases to exist. Shesha is generally depicted with a massive form that floats coiled in space, or on the ocean of milk, to form the bed on which Vishnu lies. According to Mahabharata, Shesha was born to sage Kaśyapa and his wife Kadru. Kadru gave birth to a thousand snakes, of which Shesha was the eldest. After Shesha, were born Vāsuki, Airāvata and Takṣaka. As a lot of Sesa brothers were cruel in nature, Sesa left his mother and kin, and resorted to austere penance. His penances were so severe that his flesh, skin and muscles dried up and merged with his frame. He was able to please Brahmā. Following this, Shesha was able to keep his mind under control so that he could continue to perform ascetic penances. Brahma asked Sesa to go beneath the unstable earth and stabilize it. Sesa agreed and went to the netherworld, and stabilized her with his hood. He is known to support her even today, thus making Pātala his perennial residence.

Description
The spectacular brass figure of the God Surya on chariot is given a truly ‘heavenly’ treatment reflecting a deep sense of aesthetic accomplishment. Lord Surya’s chariot is being drawn by his seven horses. An aura of magnificence is manifest here and Lord Surya is worshiped by the words om bhur bhuva svah. He travels at a speed of 3,400,800 yojanas (27,206,400 miles) in a muhurta (second). The seven horses yoked to the sun-god’s chariot are named Gayatri, Brhati, Usnik, Jagati, Tristup, Anustup and Pankti. These names of various Vedic meters designate the seven horses that carry the sun-god’s chariot. There are sixty thousand saintly persons named Valikhilyas, each the size of a thumb, who are located in front of the sun-god and who offer him eloquent prayers of glorification. Similarly, fourteen other saints, Gandharvas, Apsaras, Nagas, Yaksas, Raksasas and demigods, who are divided into groups of two, assume different names every month and continuously perform different ritualistic ceremonies to worship the Supreme Lord as the most powerful demigod Suryadeva, who holds many names.
Worshiping the most powerful demigod Surya, the Gandharvas sing in front of him, the Apsaras dance before the chariot, the Nisacaras follow the chariot, the Pannagas decorate the chariot, the Yaksas guard the chariot, and the saints called the Valikhilyas surround the sun-god and offer prayers. The seven groups of fourteen associates arrange the proper times for regular snow, heat and rain throughout the universe.
