A classic by Napoleon Hill and still, the top selling book in its genre, it teaches you how you can acquire riches!

Hill talks about twelve steps that one needs to take to become rich. He has gone deeply into thought process, sex, romance, fear, subconscious mind and the apt age for achieving success, among other things, as the methods for acquiring wealth. He has quoted examples in plenty. He has given ideas in a plain, benign form so that even a youngster would be able to understand them. Thus, Hill says (we quote): "Knowledge will not attract money unless it is organized and intelligently directed...to the definite end of accumulation of money."

He goes on to state that if we concentrate our mind on a material thing or money, circumstances would become conducive to help us acquire that coveted item.

You should read this book, not only to earn money, but also to start looking at life from a positive viewpoint. So, our pragmatic advice is ? read this book and grow rich, besides becoming wise!

DESCRIPTION:

`Do not be afraid of making mistakes, but never repeat them.'
With these words of paternal advice, Habil Khorakiwala set forth to create one of India’s most respected, research-based pharmaceutical companies—Wockhardt Limited. In Odyssey of Courage, Khorakiwala narrates a saga of Indian enterprise, talent and creativity.
Hailing from Palanpur, Gujarat, the Khorakiwalas arrived in Bombay in 1896 to build one of the city’s iconic retail chain stores—Akbarallys. Opting to strike out on his own, Khorakiwala entered the pharmaceutical business in 1967. Despite fierce competition at home and abroad, Wockhardt has emerged as a global firm with subsidiaries in the US and Europe. The pharma giant is now ready to launch an antibiotics ‘super drug’ that will mark a new stage in the evolution of the Indian pharmaceutical industry.
Odyssey of Courage is more than just the story of Wockhardt. It offers invaluable insights into the making of a knowledge-based Indian multinational. Policymakers, business executives, students of management and public policy will relate to Khorakiwala’s experiences in ‘learning by doing’, taking risks and handling crises and in managing change—within the industry, within India’s policy environment and within the world of global pharma.

About the Author

Dr Habil Khorakiwala is the Founder-Chairman of the Wockhardt Group.. He was conferred with an honorary doctorate by Purdue University and has been the recipient of several honours and awards at home and abroad including the ‘Ernst and Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year’. Currently the Chancellor of Jamia Hamdard University, he is also past president of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance (IPA).

About the Author

One of India s most cherished figures, Rabindranath Tagore (1861-1914) was a novelist, short-story writer, poet, essayist, painter, educationist and thinker, the first non-European to be awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1913. He modernised Bengali literature, moving it away from its rigid classical form and strict linguistic structure. Known for works such as Gitanjali (Song Offerings), Gora (Fair-Faced) and Ghare-Baire (The Home and the World,) his novels, short stories and verse are considered part of the greatest of world literature, famous for their exploration of the political and the personal.
